What personal data UpsideTail needs, why, who receives it and what rights you have.
The controller of your personal data is Rymgo, MB, company code 306267949, SVS VAT LT100018045011, registered address Šumsko g. 298A, LT-02196 Vilnius, Lithuania (“we”, “us”). We run the UpsideTail community and the website https://upsidetail.com.
For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
Login is only possible through Telegram Login. Telegram gives us your Telegram user ID, your Telegram username and your name. We do not receive your phone number or your Telegram password. At login you also allow our Telegram bot to send you messages, which we use for membership notices.
Inside the private Telegram group, other members and the group administrators can see your Telegram profile as Telegram shows it, and what you post there.
For the accounts of our own administrators we keep an audit log of administrative actions, including their IP addresses.
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Logging you in, taking payment, reviewing and approving your membership, giving and ending access to the Telegram group, renewal reminders, answering your messages | Performance of a contract with you, and steps you ask for before entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Invoices, accounting and tax records | Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Security of the website and the community, server logs, the admin audit log, preventing fraud and abuse, establishing and defending legal claims | Our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Non-essential cookies, if we ever use them | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
Without the data needed for the contract (Telegram login, email and billing details) we cannot provide the membership.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Membership approval is decided by a person.
We use the following service providers. They receive only the data they need for their service:
Some of these providers may also process data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies, for example Stripe for payment processing and Telegram for its own platform.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to public authorities. We do not sell your personal data.
Some of the providers above are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or may process data there. In that case the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information at [email protected].
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
Send requests to [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request. Some rights are limited by law: for example, we cannot erase accounting records we are required to keep.
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to administrative functions. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

The declaration below is provided by Cookiebot and lists the cookies found on this website. There you can also review or change your consent at any time.
The website and the membership are not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data about them.
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. We will tell members about material changes by Telegram or email.
